Swiss Exchange SIX Launches Ethereum-Based ETP

SIX, the largest Swiss stock exchange, has added Ethereum-based exchange-traded products (ETPs) to the platform‘s trading instruments.

SIX Group announced its intentions and participation in the development of new digital products of the Swiss startup Amun AG back in November last year. Launched an exchange product based on Ethereum (ETH) will be traded under the AETH index, and its management fee will be 2.5%.

In total, SIX plans to add five cryptocurrency ETPs and form a portfolio of them called HODL. In addition to the ether, it will include Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) instruments.

In early February, the exchange also reported about development and launch plans in the second half of 2019 a new SIX Digital Exchange blockchain trading platform. However, the final decision on her fate is expected by the end of summer., as legal issues are still being discussed with local regulators.
